The conducted studies showed high antibacterial and antifungal activity in the studied drug. The activity of silver nanoparticles on gram-negative bacteria was complete (100%). At 40-minute and 2-hour exposures of bacterial suspensions of these microorganisms at all concentrations of silver (worked with undiluted nanohydrosol and dilutions 1/100 and 1/1000) Also 100% suppression of growth and vital activity of gram-negative bacteria was observed.
In relation to Gram-positive bacteria, even with respect to Staphylococcus aureus, there was a 100% suppression of the growth of the bacterial population.
Under the influence of nanohydrosol on Gram-positive bacteria, at 40 minute and 2 hour exposures for all concentrations of bacterial suspension, one result is -100% suppression of the entire bacterial population.
In the study of antifungal (antifungal activity), a clear inhibition of fungal growth was recorded at a 40-minute and 2-hour exposure. The decrease in the fungal population was registered more than 1 million times, the residual population was 0.00083-0.00099%.
